The Huannan Market Reconstruction Project is divided into two phases. The first phase of the project took place at the original bus maintenance yard and the old poultry wholesale market. The construction started on November 6, 2016. Part of its use license was obtained in August 2019. The Huannan Market will remain to operate at the same place after the reconstruction to continue the business activity. The second phase of the project started in April 2020. The Jia, Yi, Bing, and Ding buildings of the first phase of the Huannan Market were demolished and are scheduled to be completed on February 28, 2023. Afterward, some of the stalls will be moved back to the second phase of the building.
