How are the street vendors different from the vendors in public markets?
1. The definition of "street vendor" is based on Article 2 of the current "Taipei City Vendor Management Regulations," which refers to vendors outside the market.
2. By Article 4 of the "Taipei City Retail Market Management Rules": "The market referred to in these rules refers to the approved trading places for centralized retail of agricultural products, groceries, department stores or catering, etc." and by Article 10: "Those who leasing public market booths ...should join the Vendor Autonomous Association as a member one month after signing the contract" and "Notes for the establishment of the autonomous organization in the Taipei Public Traditional Retail Vendor Market" Article 2: "Members of the Vendor Self-care Organization shall refer to the relationship with the government booth tenants with contracts and users who pay temporary booth usage fees on a monthly basis in the government’s possession.” It is defined as “booths” and refers to those who rent (or use) market booths(shops).
