What materials are required to apply for a new vendor permit?
Fill in the application form and attach the following documents in person, or entrust others or mail to the Taipei City Market Administration Office (6th Floor, No. 21, Section 1, Dihua Street, Datong District, Taipei City):
1. Applicant’s qualification certificate (1 copy of the handbook for the disabled, or 1 copy of the low-income household card for persons who had been a specific certificate of a vendor before 1984 and is 50 years old, had no other income, and their family depended on them, or a copy of the disabled handbook, or the copy of low-income card;
2. Two 2-inch photos of the half-length body in the last three months;
3. For food vendors, please attach a public hospital physical examination form (including chest X-ray and hepatitis A examination result);
4. Those who set up booths on private land should attach a written consent to the use of all landowners.;
5. Find an appropriate place of business on its own, and the place of business must not violate the restrictions on the establishment of stalls within 200 meters of tourist areas, important streets or market areas as stipulated in Article 16 of the "Taipei City Vendor Management Autonomy Ordinance";
6. According to the "Taipei City Vendor Business Permit Fees Regulatins," applicants who apply for issuance, re-issuance, or replacement of a business permit will be charged NT$300 per permit. However, those with low-income households registered in Taipei City who have attached supporting documents are exempted.
