Opened in February 1980, the vendors of Huashan Market were once the vendors near the Combined Logistics Command. Since the market is near MRT Shandau Temple Station and in order to fit with the surrounding features of Huashan Creative Park, In 2008, the first floor of the market was renovated under the government's initiative. On October 1st, 2008, Huashan Market was reopened with its new business model of a combination between traditional market and creative artworks. In December 2009, the second floor was redesigned and renovated as a food court that offers a comfortable dining environment to residents nearby. The market offers all sorts of fresh products, commodities, creative crafts and delicacies.
